Susan Taylor, Principal Designer and CEO

With over 25 years creating luxury interiors on projects nationwide and a Bucks County home store showcasing hundreds of brands, principal designer and CEO Susan Taylor has built more than a business. Susan leads the Bucks County design studio creative team and home store division. Her fresh approach and style mix takes her to clients projects from the Rocky Mountains to the Carolina Mountains, along with shore points from New Jersey, Naples and Boca Raton in Florida to the posh beaches of Sullivan’s Island, SC.

Susan is tireless when it comes to the pursuit of style. A Bucks County style icon, she has created luxury interiors with room designs that are current and finished down to the last personalized accessory, with lasting power that draws you into the room. Susan is a master at blending style approaches, from organic elements to mid-century modern, layered glamour to treasured historic collections. Her striking interiors are inspired by her passion for design, textiles, color and all things style.

When Susan isn’t working 14 hour days, she loves to bake mouthwatering desserts for friends and family, create beautiful, out of the ordinary fresh floral designs, and travel to Paris for design and shoe inspiration! She also enjoys her home in Charlotte, North Carolina, where she is learning about all things southern.

Jackie Macli, Senior Project Manager

Jackie Macli, Senior Project Manager, has been Susan’s right hand for the past 16 years and oversees projects anywhere from Manhattan to Boca Raton. She recognizes that timely execution of a project is a critical element to the design process. She works hand in hand with service providers, architects, vendors and contractors with whom we have trusted relationships with. Jackie exudes Black-eyed Susan’s commitment to delivering luxury service with unmatched professionalism.

On Saturday mornings you will find Jackie at the local farmer’s market looking for organic vegetables and flowers. Jackie is known for never saying no to a stop at a good antique store!

Nicole Muller, Home Store Coordinator

Nicole Muller is a Bucks County native who first got to know Black-eyed Susan when she needed a “wow” centerpiece for an Upper Makefield home. Her high style background started with working at State College, PA’s favorite fashion boutique while she earned degrees in counseling and psychology. Nicole is known for her cheerful approach with home store shoppers. Her passion for finding the perfect design match for each Black-eyed Susan customer comes from getting to know them and their style personally.

Tina-Anne D'Agostino, Lead Receiver and Retail Support

Tina-Anne grew up on the sandy beaches of Long Island until in 2017 her family moved to the countryside, of Hunterdon county, to start their farm life. Tina found herself at home with the thriving art scene that Bucks County and the surrounding towns provided. Through her exploration of the arts, she made her way to Black-eyed Susan!

Tina has her Masters Degree in Visuals Arts and Art Administration where her expertise of telling a story on canvas translates well into having an eye for design. Tina wears many, many hats at Black Eyed Susan; she is Retail’s go-to floral arranger; but for the majority of the time, Tina is unboxing and examining all of the cute merchandise first. She also spends time with Susan sprucing up the store when it is needed, taking cute pictures and videos of the store along the way, learning and soaking up all of Susan’s breathtaking style in the process!

When Tina isn’t at the store, you’ll find her surrounded by everything that makes her heart full. She’ll be outside at her family farm – in her garden experimenting with aromatherapy herbs and flora, creating pottery, making artisan Yak Milk Soap, oh! and spending quality time with her Yak herd of course!

Connie Terlecki, Office Manager

Connie Terlecki began reconciling the books of Black-eyed Susan in our boutique store in Yardley. As Black-eyed Susan experienced success and growth she moved with us and in addition to keeping the books, she manages the receiving for all 10,000 sq ft of our Home store!

Connie is an avid DIY’er and loves the thrill of the hunt, transforming the old into new treasured keepsakes. Her years of loyalty and dedication have made her an invaluable Black-eyed Susan asset.

Linda Giler, CFO and Buyer

Linda Giler, CFO and Designer, has been by Susan’s side from the very start of the Yardley boutique store. She and Susan pride themselves on being creative partners as they travel the country buying unique and interesting pieces that our customers have come to expect. With her sharp business acumen her primary responsibility is to keep an eye on all things marketing and management related.

You can always count on Linda to go on a shopping spree and break her diet with a piece of chocolate cake!

Fred Taylor, Installation and Delivery

Attention to detail is important to Black-eyed Susan in every form. Fred Taylor works with our design team to make sure that the picture is hung at just the right height, the rug is perfectly centered and assuring that a gallery wall is installed just as the designer designed it.

If Fred isn’t making deliveries in the Black-eyed Susan van he is riding his bike through the beautiful countryside of Bucks County!

Sophia Daybell, Social Media and Marketing Coordinator

Sophia handles the social media and marketing for Black-eyed Susan. She works hard to show off the latest & greatest in interior design on all our social media platforms. When you check your email, scroll on Facebook or swipe on Instagram, you’re seeing her handiwork.

If you’re looking for Sophia when she isn’t posting the looks from our last client photo shoot, she’s probably pushing her little boys in swings at the park, listening to an audiobook at the gym, or at the drive thru at McDonald’s for some fries and a large Diet Coke!
