The formal library is one of the most used rooms when family gathers here. The former dining table was repurposed as a library table, and four leather-capped armchairs provide seating for cards, laptop computers or light fare. The sculptural chandelier is just another piece of art in the homeowner’s collection of delightful chandeliers!

Rich, custom library-like cases hold memorabilia and family collections, cherished photographs and awards. And while the young adults sit around the table with games and cards, two stunning leather wing chairs welcome friends to converse and discuss the day. When space permits, this is a truly perfect layout for a room that demands plenty of seating and ample room for lounging. Extended four seat sofas with an additional chaise provide ample seating, napping or lounging! Two booked coffee tables give everyone a place for drinks with storage for an extra blanket or throw. The wide wood paneled sofa arms, graphic area rug and storage console with marble doors are the design elements of the room that add interest. And, who doesn’t want a few animal print fur pillows?! Count me in. I’m loving this room.
