The Urban Loft upstairs at Black-eyed Susan is always a favorite any time of year, but during the Christmas season, it is full of history and magical charm. Historic stone walls lend the backdrop for a more organic look with a blend of high style to treat the imagination. Black-eyed Susan boasts the most realistic and fine garlands, sprays and wreaths you can find.
The Norfolk pine garland you can spot here is among my favorites this year! Soft, drapey and beautiful, it can stand alone as I have used it or you can embellish it with lights, ribbon or ornaments.
There is a bountiful selection of every size of bottle brush trees throughout the store … your color … your size … your style. I’ve styled them throughout the store with so many inspirations to build on … it’s a tradition every year and this year, you will not be disappointed!
For the past three or four years, I have included some kind of a pink theme … one cannot miss it in the High Point Market offerings. This year, I cut back because I seem to be the main one that felt weak in the knees over this color! I did include these very well-priced rose gold bubble bowls … I mean, what’s a girl to do? I can’t ignore the pink trend in total. I’m thinking Bucks County will catch up one of these Christmas seasons. * sigh*
You’ll notice the use of glass cloches throughout the store—filled with pinecones, Santas, deer, ornaments, snow … well, the list goes on and on. And don’t forget the myriad of design options for these giant sugar pine cones, always in big demand. I love them white tipped, silver-glittered, gold-glittered, champagne and natural. They are a staple, a loved design element and I’ll show you how to use them in any room.
This versatile trunk coffee table is not to be missed. I always do my best to have plenty of new furniture options during the Holiday season. This one has a storage drawer for blankets, remotes, magazines, you name it … it’s a game changer for keeping your room looking at its best! A little bit glam, a little bit organic and a whole lot of style.
Two home bars are flanked here to create an impact. A bit of mid century modern keeps the look hip and functional at the same time. Lanterns, opened and closed, are displayed with Christmas offerings for the season. A small hide rug shelters the chaise portion of a small room sofa with chaise and adds another bit of organic charm.
Another part of the Urban Loft is home to a personal favorite sectional! (I own three of these in various homes, so I speak from experience!) This one is in a Crypton performance fabric, making it not only stylish, but totally livable for families, pets and grandbabies! Hundreds of fabric choices and about a 4-5 week lead time, or have this one from the store delivered tomorrow.
A few of my favorite Christmas decos hang in the rafters above the sectional … glittered white (also available in silver and gold) orbs, and snowflakes that can find a home in any deep window sill or over a dining table. (Chandeliers make perfect places for hanging these!)
The Black-eyed Susan Urban Loft invites you in with plenty of inspiration for using garlands, table runners, ornaments, pinecones, Santas, trees and so much more! It’s an area of the store not to be missed.
