your how-to on industrial farmhouse decorating

The Urban Loft showroom upstairs was transformed with the recent floor change, and includes loads of new and exciting furniture pieces you won’t want to miss!

Stone walls, organic touches of baskets and moss, performance velvet, iron and stone all come together for a personal and comfy look. Think family rooms, media rooms, or personal spaces. You’ll see one of my favorite formulas: strong contrast with a pop of color in floral accents, and how it works in any space.

If you know Black-eyed Susan, you know we believe in trays! Organic touches with wood cuts, succulents and the unexpected crystal sphere adds warmth and charm here.

I’m guessing no one noticed the books that are missing from my sale on Saturday here!

This media console with sliding doors is sooooooo cool! Room for both media equipment, accents, books, videos, you name it. It has that farmhouse charm and chic style all in one package! It’s a great value and great look. Stop in to see for yourself!

Modern art speaks for drama and beauty. Organic metal finishes in lamps and candleholders complete the look. I find the addition of sculptural objects to be really important in accessories.

I filled the wall and deep window sills with natural baskets and black vessels. The use of texture, shape and organic botanical plants and broadleaves are the perfect finish.

The combination of oversized drama, warm finish and functionality make this media center one to envy! Open the center doors and your oversized TV is exposed. Close it when not in use, and you have a bevy of room for accessories and interesting objects. Oh. My. Oh. Yes.  And don’t miss this value-priced black leather motion sofa! In response for requests and the combination of a modern look with motion functionality, I brought this in. It’s a great look. The coffee table/ottoman is a fabulous design with a sliding function to the wood section. Slide it from side to side for a versatile use. Wow!

Love these organic and darling small vessels. I really wanted to take all of them to my installation project, but I left them for you, my friends. Better hurry—if they are there when I return, they’re mine! (I’m serious!)

Another shot of the motion sofa…but look at that darling pillow!! Combined with black textured lamps, three-tiered tables and that ottoman table, this is a great winning formula. Love the black and natural palette.

Four chairs and a round table really work here. All chairs are performance fabric, and several are swivel. Vanguard Furniture makes this a great buy. Don’t miss these #ohsosusan ready-made drapery panels. Linen…tassels…grommets. Several colors, affordable and quick ship. They can be customized in length or pleats … I love them! Modern art again brings these classics into today’s trends.

We’ve added color to these otherwise tone-on-tone rooms with strong contrast. That’s the beauty of this palette. Choose your color and accent.

I’ll see you then,
